At the bottom of the mountain in the village of Carvalheira you find the accommodation Vale das Mós, designed for experiencing the tranquillity of the countryside. From the top of the mountain you can see the entire town and surrounding villages, as well as an important religious monument, the Bom Jesus of Mós, whose construction began in 1902. Just over 2 km away is the Peneda-Gerês National Park, where you can explore its entire biodiversity, waterfalls and the Vilarinho das Furnas’ Dam.
