About GerêsCasas.com
The website GerêsCasas.com belongs to the tourist operator Gerês Holidays® (RNAVT 4915) and aims to intermediate tourist accommodation reservations in the area surrounding the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
No booking fee is charged to the Traveler.
Responsibility of GerêsCasas towards the Traveler
All accommodations were previously checked (location and actual existence) in order to avoid possible fraud or illegality.
All information relating to accommodation advertised on the GerêsCasas.com website (features, amenities, prices and general and/or specific conditions) is the result of data sent by the Owners, and their accuracy is their sole responsibility. Owners, by authorizing the disclosure of their accommodations, ensure that they have checked, corrected and informed the Gerês Casas team about any inaccuracies or errors detected.
Changes relating to accommodation (prices, promotions, reservation and cancellation arrangements, services available, etc.) will be updated immediately after written communication from the Owner to the GerêsCasas team.
All detailed information about the reserved accommodation and owner will be provided to the Traveler after making the reservation.
The Traveler can contact the GerêsCasas team for support and clarification of doubts regarding their reservation via email reservas@gerescasas.com.
Cancellations
If the reservation is canceled more than 30 days before the check-in date, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded.
If canceled less than 30 days before the check-in date, there will be no refund of the amount paid, with the possibility of rescheduling, depending on the availability of the accommodation and the owner's agreement.
If the new appointment is at a lower value than the first, there will be no refund of the amount.
Since the new booking is at a higher price, the customer must pay the difference.
Up to 120 hours before check-in, penalty of 100% of the amount paid, with no possibility of rescheduling.
There will be no refunds if the customer voluntarily gives up the services before completing their stay, or due to any situations beyond the control of the Owner or GerêsCasas.com
These general conditions do not invalidate the particular conditions of each accommodation.
Responsibility of Owners to the Traveler
Each owner is responsible for verifying compliance with the conditions set out in the reservation procedure.
Each Owner is responsible for the information (features, amenities, prices, reservation and cancellation arrangements, services available, etc.) relating to their accommodation.
The Owners undertake to honor the commitments resulting from confirmed and completed reservations, made to the Traveler.
After confirmation and completion of the reservation, all contacts relating to the stay must be made directly between the Traveler and the Owner, who undertakes to remain communicable and available.
The Owner is solely responsible for invoicing the Traveler for the amounts related to the reservations made.
Travelers' Responsibility to Owners
The Traveler must remain communicable and available to respond to the Owner's requests within the scope of their reservation and stay.
After confirmation and completion of the reservation, all contacts relating to the stay must be made directly between the Traveler and the Owner, who undertakes to remain communicable and available.
In the event of non-compliance with the conditions previously established for each accommodation at the time of booking, such as maximum number of occupants agreed per reservation, presence of animals not permitted, non-compliance with check-in and check-out times, inconvenient behavior, among others, the Owner may not accept check-in or interrupt the stay at any time without the right to a refund of amounts already paid, unless another solution is found and agreed between the Owner and Traveler.
The Traveler is responsible for losses, damages, costs or expenses of any nature, directly or indirectly caused by, resulting from, or related to their stay, and must immediately inform the Owner in the event of their occurrence. If the Traveler refuses to assume responsibility towards the Owner, the Owner may resort to the competent authorities to enforce their rights.
The Traveler is responsible to the Owner under the general terms of the Law in force.
Responsibility of Travelers before GerêsCasas
By reading and accepting these general conditions, the Traveler agrees with what is described therein.
The Traveler is responsible for the veracity of all information provided at the time of booking (number of adult occupants, baby children, if applicable, existence or not of pets, among others), and undertakes to comply with the specific conditions
